Why this site. The Parthenon is the monument whose golden-ratio fame is most often asserted and least often tested. Two separate questions hide inside that claim. The first is whether the building's own facade is built on phi, which our engine does not measure at all: it compares distances between monuments, not proportions within one. The second is whether Athens' monuments sit at golden distances from each other, and there our number looks spectacular until you read the control, where an arbitrary ratio scored 4.55 against the golden ratio's 4.19 and beat it. That is the honest shape of the evidence, and it is on the shirt.
